What we store

Homeland stores the minimum data needed to run accounts, gameplay, and rankings:

  • Account usernames, display names, and password hashes.
  • For app installs, a generated account may be created automatically with a vetted display name.
  • Game rooms, move history, ratings, and limited session metadata.
  • Guest sessions tied to the browser until they are deleted or expire.

How we use it

We use account data to authenticate players, keep ratings, support matchmaking and room joins, and let players continue their games.

Account controls

Users can open the account panel from their name in the top-right corner to request a username change or delete their account. Username changes are reviewed by an admin before they take effect. Account deletion removes the account record and current session.

App accounts

Play Store users can be signed in automatically without entering an email address. The app stores only the credentials needed to reconnect that account later. You may connect an app account to a browser session by entering the username and password, and no personal information is collected for that flow.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Game room names, leaderboard entries, and public match activity are visible to other users as part of the game.
